President Donald Trump said Tuesday he’s not open to extending the two-week ceasefire with Iran when it expires on Wednesday but he’s confident the U.S. and Iran will come to an agreement soon.

“We don’t have much time,” the president said on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.”

Trump also said the U.S. is “going to end up with a great deal” in the negotiations with Iran because they will “have no choice.”

He said that U.S. forces have neutralized Iran’s navy, air force and “taken out” their leaders.

Ahead of the latest negotiations between the two countries, Trump said on Truth Social on Tuesday to release eight Iranian women who have been sentenced to death. According to The Hill, the names of the women are Bita Hemmati, Ghazal Ghalandari, Golnaz Naraghi, Venus Hossein Nejad, Panah Movahedi, Ensieh Nejati, Mahboubeh Shabani and Diana Taher Abadi.

“To the Iranian leaders, who will soon be in negotiations with my representatives: I would greatly appreciate the release of these women. I am sure that they will respect the fact that you did so. Please do them no harm! Would be a great start to our negotiations!!! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” he said.
